I have over 30 years of experience in mining, exploration and project evaluation
- I have worked with Agnico Eagle, Dragon Mining and Outokumpu,
also with Geological Survey of Finland during geological studies - 20 years of my work experience has been in senior and managerial roles
- Very good knowledge of mining and exploration geology, main softwares, methods and innovations, from underground to open pits
- Over the years I have trained many new geologists to become professionals in this business
- I have worked in Finland, Nordic countries, Europe and Australia with multinational companies (Au, Ag, PGE, Ni, Cu, Co, Zn)
- I know well most of the mining and exploration companies, consultants, contractors and technology developers in Finland
- I have been actively participating in the monitoring groups related to mining legislation
- In November 2022 I started GeoUkko Oy / GeoUkko Ltd, which is consulting company for mine geology, exploration and project evaluation
